新宿のリビングデザインセンターOZONEにて、山本卓郎建築設計事務所による個展「住まいの惑星」展が開催されました。
本展では大きな地球儀に住宅の模型を載せた星の王子様状の仕掛けを「住まいの惑星」と称し、来館者に直接それらを動かして頂くことで模型に差し込む光の変化を楽しんでもらおうと考えています。
「住まいの惑星」は大きくデフォルメされていますが、地球・太陽そして住まいの関係を再現する一種のシミュレーターであり、模型内部に設置されたカメラの映像を通して、弊事務所の住宅に対する設計思想をお伝え致します。
その他、未公開プロジェクトの模型・ドローイングも多数展示。期間中は山本が会場に常駐し、皆様のお越しをお待ちしています。

The solo exhibition of Takuro Yamamoto Architects is now opened in Living design gallery of OZONE, Shinjuku.
For this exhibition, we designed two sets of "the planet of residence" which is an installation consisted of a big terrestrial globe and a house model on it, and a light which is simulating the sun. The visiters can revolve the globe, and estimate the motion of shadows and lights.
Through the projected images of cameras inside the residence model, we'd like to explain our philosophy of designing residences.
